Felt, felt, felt, I love felt!

I had the idea to illustrate a children's book with felt while creating a felt story board and characters for a story time reading of Max and Me at my local library. I had so much fun cutting and pasting the extremely user friendly fabric that a picture book was the next logical step.

I sketched my ideas in pencil on paper and then armed with a multitude of felt squares, my trusty sewing scissors, acid free construction paper, and glue sticks, I cut, cut, cut and had fun, fun, fun. My sons also had an absolute ball getting creative - and with scissors too!!!
